Blame it on the weather. Ajay Devgn, who left for Canada with his technical crew to shoot his directorial venture Shivay, was disappointed because there wasn't the kind of snowfall he had bargained for in the Canadian mountains.

It is being said that the actor-director has certain shades and colours envisioned for his canvas. As a result, he is believed to be reworking the schedule.

A unit source said, “Ajay doesn't believe in compromises. So, he decided to return to India with his crew and wait for a more appropriate time to start shooting. As of now, Shivaay stands postponed.“ While Ajay refused to comment, one hears that the film will now roll around October this year.

However, the good news is that the Bollywood superstar will use the next eight months to complete two high-profile acting projects. The first one that goes on the floor is the Drishyam remake with director Nishikant Kamat. This is the remake of the Malayalam film that brought in huge box-office collections as well as accolades for Mohanlal.

Nishikant said that he was excited by both, the subject and his hero. “If there's anyone I could visualise as the lead character, it was Ajay. The movie will go on floors in February,“ confirmed the maker of movies like Dombivli Fast, Mumbai Meri Jaan and Force. While the Drishyam remake is expected to release in the second half of the year, Ajay is also likely to wrap up the shooting of Milan Luthria's Baadshaho by September. This film, in all likelihood, will be released in January 2016. So, with the Drishyam remake, Ajay will have a 2015 release, after all.
