A concert, Suron Ke Rang - Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar, rocked Film City on Tuesday, organised as a tribute to late music baron, Gulshan Kumar.

Mahesh Bhatt described the evening as an "unexpected welcome", recalling how Gulshanji had walked into his office 30 years ago and informed him that he had wanted to make a film with Bhatt.

Sonu Nigam and Ayushmann Khurrana were the perfect hosts, making Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit emotional.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone sat close, while AR Rahman admitted that his wish to meet Gulshanji will remain an unfulfilled dream.

REAL HERO
Salman Khan surprised singers Armaan Malik and Amaal Mallik with an impromptu 'Tu hai hero... mera...', while his 'Hero' Sooraj danced.

SLOWLY, SWEETLY
Hrithik Roshan hummed Dheere Dheere with Sonu Nigam. Sonu's Jaane nahin from 3 Idiots had Aamir Khan in tears. Sob!

GARAM DHARAM
With his energetic Punjabi counterpart, Mika Singh, Dharmendra sang, 'Bahon mein aa soniya' signing off with a punch, "Go Punjabi!"

BHATT NATURALLY
Pooja, Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt along with Mohit Suri and Rahul Roy walked down the Aashiqui lane.

IN JACKSON'S SHOES
Mr Heropanti Tiger Shroff who saluted his idol, Michael Jackson, suddenly broke into a jig while Hrithik Roshan sang. "I'm honoured to work with Gulshanji's son, Bhushan sir," Tiger growled.

ON THE RETRO TRACK
Arjun Kapoor screamed out to Athiya Shetty, claiming to be Suniel Shetty's biggest fan. He proved it by singing Sheher ki ladki with Ayushmann Khurrana.
