SIMRAN had a poor first weekend with around 9.50 crore nett collections. The film has shown some growth over the weekend but it is probably not good enough for the Monday business to come out in the Friday range. The film may have been affected a little by the cricket match on Sunday but at these low levels it will be hardly be 2-5% affect as its not a film that has found a large audience which could have been kept away on Sunday due to the cricket. In the clash with LUCKNOW CENTRAL it has won as far as the weekend is concerned as it leads by around 2 crore nett. The first weekend business of SIMRAN is as follows

LUCKNOW CENTRAL has fared worse than SIMRAN with collections under 7.50 crore nett for the weekend. The film has not even been able to collect well in Lucknow and that pretty much tells the story. The only plus is that is was closest to SIMRAN on Sunday with the gap being 65 lakhs nett and maybe it can make some inroads over the weekdays though that is doubtful. This film was also probably affected by the cricket on Sunday but again to a very limited degree due to the same reasons as SIMRAN. The first weekend collections of LUCKNOW CENTRAL are as follows.
