FUKREY RETURNS did very well in its first weekend to collect 31.50 crore nett plus as Sunday added in the 12.50-12.75 crore nett range. The growth on Sunday was held back by the Delhi NCR area which was at a very high level already. The Delhi/UP collections have gone over 10 crore nett for the weekend to around 10.50 crore nett which is simply huge for a film like this. Mumbai is around 9 crore when the average is Mumbai to be better than Delhi/UP by around 30% for most films. The Mumbai figures itself are good which shows the sort of acceptance the film has found in the North. East Punjab also netted a huge 4.50 crore nett which gives North India a 15 crore nett total and almost 50% of the all India business of the film. The weekend collections of FUKREY RETURNS are as follows

The film should see a good trend on Monday as the Delhi/UP and East Punjab markets tend to hold better post the weekend especially the former but if Mumbai can start matching Delhi/UP later on in the week or in the second week that is what will take the film to a totally different another level.
