AIYAARY showed growth of around 30% to collect 4.25 crore nett on its second day but it is not good enough for the film as the only way forward was a 5 crore nett second day which would have given the film a chance. The two day total of the film stands at 7.50 crore nett and that is far too low.

The film is mainly collecting in metros so Sunday growth on a best case scenario can match the Saturday growth. The collections of AIYAARY over the first two days are as follows.

Saturday - 4,25,00,000
TOTAL - 7,50,00,000

BLACK PANTHER showed an upturn of 20% on Saturday which is lower than normal for a Hollywood release but the film had opened far bigger than what the film is worth for the Indian market. The two day business of the film is around 11.50 crore nett but the trend on Saturday suggests its going to find it hard in the long run in India.

The film may be setting the box office ablaze worldwide but India is a different market altogether and goes its own way. Even AIYAARY which is not going to do much managed to show a better Saturday trend.
